No wine is better for the warm weather than fruity, slightly fizzy Vinho Verde, but now there's another exciting choice from Portugal. Quinta da Lixa 'Anjos' Rosé has all the sparkle and flavor of Quinta da Lixa's white Vinho Verde but with an added infusion of bright red berries. While most people are familiar with Portugal's Brancos (white wines), Rosé offers something new. Made by the Meireles Family, Anjos is a blend of Touriga Nacional and Espadeiro, both popular red grapes in Portugal and northwest Spain. Oenologist Carlos Teixeira crafts the grapes into a bright low-alcohol wine with less than 12% abv.
