When he sadly passed in 2010, his children Mathieu and Camille continued the great work that their father pioneered, and Raisins Gaulois is a perfect initiation to the wines of Lapierre. Designed specifically for drinking, jolly, carefree quaffing, the Gamay grown is within the Morgon cru, but exceed the limit required to qualify for the Morgon appellation. The higher yields produce an incredibly juicy red, loaded with bright, playful fruit, low in alcohol and delightfully refreshing. A perfect wine for the Spring and warmer months ahead!
