"With a red wax seal affixed to the front of the bottle, the Mastrojanni 2018 Brunello di Montalcino shows dark fruit, dried cherry, iris roots, savory spice and crushed stone. The wine presents a classic aromatic profile for Sangiovese from Montalcino. The only distraction is the wine's high 15% alcohol content. Otherwise, the wine is silky and smooth with integrated tannins. This 70,000-bottle production is set up for near and medium-term drinking." The WIne Advocate, 93 Points
