Los Bocheros is an exciting new project from famed Argentine winemaker Hector Durigutti and Guillermo Garcia Lamadrid of the award winning Lamadrid Winery. Durigutti makes the best value wine in Argentina and is also the genius behind two other popular Wine Buyer labels: Alma de los Andes and Clos d'Argentine. Sourced from estate vineyards in Lujan de Cuyo and the Uco Valley, these two sub-regions within Mendoza offer a perfect growing climate of warm days and cool nights. This phenomenon allows the grapes to achieve excellent fruit and tannin concentration, which is responsible for the wine's structure. Aged in French oak, this rich red is loaded with jammy cassis and blueberry flavors, woven together with layers of floral and cedar notes.
"Aromas of mulberries, dark plums, dry earth, lavender honey and dried wild herbs. Medium body with fine tannins. Creamy, with fruity character and a velvety texture." James Suckling, 90 Points
