Sourced from 30+ year old vineyards across the Loire River from Sancerre, Jolivet has crafted an open and expressive version of Sauvignon Blanc that keeps the bright aromatics with a playful, fruit forward palate, while maintaining that "fume" smokiness from what is essentially a northern extension of Pouilly Fume. A beautiful expression of Sauvignon Blanc with high toned floral notes, minerality and a bit more suppleness than you traditionally find in Sancerre, all in perfect balance.

"This gold-colored wine has an aromatic nose of pureed apple, clove and vanilla baking spice, quince, brioche, toasted walnuts, ginger and orange peel. The creamy-textured wine is fruit forward with an underlying baking spice that imparts depth and focus.
