Sourced from some of the best vineyards in Washington: Browne Family, Blackrock, Mirage, Skyfall, and Canyon Vineyard Ranch, Freeman ages the wine 11 months in 30% new French Oak. Loaded with notes of ripe blueberries, black plum and baking spices, there are pronounced flavors of black cherry and toasty oak. If this was made in Napa Valley instead of Washington State, it would easily be in the $50 range.
