Wines from Gualtallary have always been known for their intense blue fruit notes, while retaining excellent freshness and acidity due to the high elevation. Throw in winemaker Marcelo Pelleriti, the only Latin American winemaker to obtain 100 points from Robert Parker (Chateau La Violette 2010) his Gualtallary is a pure, elegant red that easily compares with $50+ Napa Reds. Huge aromatics of red fruits, strawberry, cherry and plum, complemented by crisp minerality and lifting acidity.
