One of the most famous, sought after Napa Valley reds, the Prisoner needs little introduction. Known for its cult status, and smooth, dense style, Robert Parker calls it a "black cherry and black currant fruit bomb," which is always a friendly welcome for those seeking the full-bodied, hedonistic style of Prisoner. Founded by the brilliant Dave Phinney, and sold to Quintessa in 2009 (most recently Constellation Brands) the wines are made by the very talented Jen Beloz.
